Additionally, visitors can admire the mysterious Païolive wood, the exhibition dedicated to the famous Chauvet cave, and the splendors of Orgnac and its adjacent cavities.

The Ardeche region is full of fun activities for reconnecting with a wild, unspoiled, and lush environment. Life here allows for a disconnection from urban territories. With its mountains, valleys, gorges, plains, lakes, rivers, woods, plateaus, and ridge lines, the Ardeche is a paradise for nature recreation. The village in which the property is located is 8 km away from Joyeuse, on the ridge road and 500 meters above sea level. It is home to 121 people year-round and features attractions such as the Castle Valoubières from the 12th century, the remains of the Abbey of Chabroulières from the 16th century, an exhibition by the Association TRACES during the summer season, and marked hiking trails.

The kitchen opens onto a large living room and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, hob with extractor hood, convection oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, table and chairs, stools, counter, and dishes in large quantities. The living room/dining room is 40 m2 and features leather armchairs, floor lamps, a coffee table, a radio, a stereo with 6 CDs, an assortment of classical music CDs, a dual player for cassettes and an assortment of classic music videos. It also has two doors opening onto a tiled terrace with stunning views of the valley.

The property has four bedrooms, each with unique features and views. Bedroom 1 on the floor has 2 upholstered beds of 90 and is tastefully decorated. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with a retractable part comfortable slatted bed base, which can be used as a single or double bed (90 or 140). It also features a writing desk with a chair and decorative painting. Bedroom 3 has 2 bunk beds and 1 drawer bed, with matching curtains to bedspreads, a desk, a chair, and painting and engraving. Bedroom 4 is a rest room with a TV and VCR, a chair, a 3-seater sofa that can be used as additional sleeping, a cupboard with sliding facades, a writing desk with a stool, a lamppost, and curtains. All the rooms have large sliding façades closets and great views.

The spacious bathroom is fully tiled and naturally lit, with decorative wall tiles, storage units with 2 columns and a washstand, a strip light with a shaver point, retractable door towels, and thermostatic valves. It also features a large shower with servant products and a shower screen in frosted glass.

The independent laundry room has a hot water cumulus of 300 liters, a washing machine, and an ironing board with a steam iron. The garage has a large fridge with a freezer section for storing fresh and frozen products.

Additional amenities include plush leather chairs, a solid oak kitchen, paintings, a grandfather clock, terrace furniture, a parasol, deckchairs, a barbecue, a telephone for incoming calls, and a mezzanine with a reading area and a library with a wide variety of books for adults and children. All openings are equipped with mosquito nets for comfort. The environment features lavender, flowering shrubs, roses, and fruit trees.

House rules will be provided on arrival and must be followed scrupulously. A deposit of 400 euros by check or cash is required, which will be returned on the day of departure if no problems occur during the stay. Check-in and check-out times can be arranged by both parties. The arrival time is between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and the departure time is before 10:00 a.m. Pets are not allowed, but smokers can smoke on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent landscape.
