La Fontaine Airmeth is a picturesque cottage located in the heart of Brittany, just 1km from Ploërdut. With its two charming rooms, guests can enjoy a delightful stay while exploring the beautiful Scorff valley and the renowned city of Guéméné-sur-Scorff. The house itself is a reflection of the traditional hamlet it is nestled in.

We take pride in our sustainable way of life, using ecologically friendly cleaning products and maintaining a composting area. We also have specific bins for different types of waste, ensuring responsible waste management. Additionally, we offer workshops and visits centered around nature, including topics such as gardening, bees, and the forest.

The Passiflore room, located on the first floor, provides a spacious and luminous space for 1 to 3 people, with a comfortable bed (160*190) and an armchair-bed (90*180). It also has a private shower and toilet. The Mandragore room, also on the first floor, offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere for 1 to 2 people, with a comfortable bed (140*190) and a private bathroom and toilet.

Breakfast is included in your stay and features organic and locally sourced food. We can accommodate other breakfast preferences upon request. Sheets and towels are provided for your convenience.

In our hamlet, you can immerse yourself in nature, interact with animals, explore the peaceful forest, and enjoy our special garden filled with medicinal plants and herbs. We also offer various activities, including massages and animations.

In the surrounding area, you can engage in activities such as trekking, fishing, horseback riding, visiting historic sites, and indulging in delicious local cuisine at restaurants. You can also explore farms and markets, participate in sports activities, and visit attractions like the Guerledan lake and the Arrée mountains.

We offer special prices for families, and the entire house can be rented as a "gîte" if desired.

We have several activities available for our guests. In the realm of nature, you can freely access our gardens and vegetable patches. We also offer guided tours and workshops in our medieval, aromatic, and medicinal gardens, as well as workshops on beekeeping with honey tasting. Additionally, we provide guided tours of the forest and offer outdoor fireplaces at night with storytelling and animal encounters. For those interested in history, we offer guided tours of the hamlet and the village.

For your well-being, you are welcome to relax on our comfortable long chairs in the garden. We also offer massages by Magdeleine from HerbEau Sens, using only organic oils. Our massage options include facial care, Ayurvedic massage, Californian massage, Lomi Lomi massage, and Balinese massage.

Directions

To get to the guest house with the blue windows in Ploërdut, start at the center of town. Head in the direction of Lignol for about 1 km. Look for a blue sign that says La Fontaine Airmeth and turn left onto the straight road. Follow this road downhill until you reach the guest house with blue windows.
