Description for B&B:

Capacity: 12 people (3 furnished accommodations for 2, 4, and 6 people)

Located in the heart of Lens, a mining town, are the atypical flats of Gîtes de Lecole Buissonniere. These 3 eco-lodges are just a short distance away from the Louvre-Lens Museum, 11/19 Base, and Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Easily accessible via major highways (A21, A1, A26), they are the perfect base to explore the mining basin and the surrounding area.

These eco-houses are the result of a family discussion that commenced several years ago, with a strong focus on sustainable development, mining heritage, and regional identity. Designed and crafted exclusively by local artisans, these lodges offer all the modern comforts one would expect, including toilets powered by rainwater recovery, showers, kitchenettes, TVs, and free WiFi. Suitable for families, couples, and business travelers, they are designed to accommodate a variety of guests.

One of the eco-lodges even features a roof terrace, providing a breathtaking view of the twin heaps of 11/19 and the lantern tower of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.

To enhance the guest experience, there is a local home on-site offering breakfast baskets, snacks, meals, and regional products for sale. Additionally, they provide guests with all the necessary tourist information. On certain weekends, guided tours of the mining town and the nearby 11/19 site are organized.

LEcole Buissonnière is a remarkable and tranquil place that seems frozen in time, embracing the past while looking towards the future with its unique design and amenities.

The lodgings available are as follows:
- 1 lodging for 1 to 2 people
- 1 lodging for 1 to 4 people
- 1 lodging for 1 to 5 people
