Simply check the availability calendar and click the book-now button. La Chambre Rose is a popular guest room with its own ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price. Downstairs, you will find a charming rustic dining room and a comfortable separate lounge. Our location in the heart of the Charente countryside makes us a typical traditional Charantaise cottage. We are conveniently located just a one-hour car drive from the airports and train stations of Limoges, Poitiers, and Angouleme. For your convenience, we have a separate utility room with a washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities. Enjoy full and free access to WiFi and television. If you prefer a quiet day, relax in our spacious gardens and on the secluded terrace. Terrific Hospitality
Gordon and Sue are the epitome of gracious hosts. We felt like good friends as soon as we stepped into their home. Their hospitality with a full breakfast was very much appreciated. Their loving animals completed the picture perfect atmosphere.

La Vie en Rose - C'est Magnifique
I have had the pleasure of staying at La Vie en Rose on 3 occasions. The setting is idyllic; the scenery spectacular and the hospitality second to none. Gordon and Sue are the perfect hosts. They made me feel so welcome. It really is a "home from home''.
There is certainly something for everyone. Whether you enjoy lying in the hammock with your favourite book; cycling around the beautiful countryside; or sunset dog walks through the surrounding woodlands and fields. La Vie en Rose has it all. Gordon will even teach you archery in the back garden. Or you could try some kayaking, which I would certainly recommend.
We spent many a happy afternoon relaxing in the beautiful gardens and playing with Gordon and Sue's amazing dogs (Bella and Dora)! We also enjoyed watching the glorious sunsets, with the customary glass of wine in hand!
I cannot recommend it highly enough. La Vie en Rose, c'est magnifique! We cannot wait to go back!

Directions
You can arrange for a pick-up service from either the Poitiers or Limoges Airport, which are about a 1-hour drive away. The cost for this service is 50 euros. Alternatively, we can also pick you up from the Ruffec train station for a fee of 20 euros.
Our location is at Chez Pouvaraud, a small collection of 8 cottages situated on the D102 road, approximately 3 kilometers to the south of Champagne Mouton.
