The house is situated in the charming village of Godewaersvelde, which is listed as a heritage site in the Monts de Flandres region. It is conveniently located just a few kilometers away from the Belgian border and is easily accessible. Godewaersvelde is only a 30-minute drive from Lille and the Opal Coast, and 10 km from Poperinge.

This beautiful old house, dating back to 1870, offers a delightful setting for both business and leisure travelers in the region. The three guest rooms are located on the first floor and are spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own unique character and is tastefully decorated.

The Sweet Duplex room is 35m2 and features a living room with a sofa bed (140/200), a queen-size bed (160/200), a bathroom with a shower (120/90) and basin, as well as a separate toilet. The Garden of Dreams room is approximately 25m2 and includes a queen-size bed (160/200), a futon sofa, a bathroom with a corner bath and basin, and a separate toilet. Both rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV for your entertainment.

The third bedroom is also 25m2 and offers a double bed, a private shower room, and a toilet.

On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with a selection of books and brochures available for guests, as well as a veranda with board games. Meals can be arranged upon reservation.

The house is surrounded by a lovely enclosed garden measuring 1900m², where guests can relax and enjoy the outdoors. There is also a secure storage space for bicycles. In addition, there is a garden lounge area for guests to unwind.

The location of the house is perfect for exploring the nearby attractions. Belgium is only 7 km away, Cassel is 15 km, and Ypres, famous for its Flanders Fields Museum and Last Post ceremony, is 22 km away. Travel directions:

If coming from Dunkerque on the A25 / E42, take Exit 13 for Steenvoorde / Poperinge. Follow the signs for Poperinge. At the first roundabout, go around and take the last exit. At the second roundabout, continue straight. At the third roundabout, take the first right towards Godewaersvelde. Keep going for about 3 km until you reach the village center. The house will be approximately 500 meters after the entrance sign, on your right. Look for a France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.

If coming from Lille on the A25 / E42, take Exit 12 for Bailleul center / Méteren. Turn right and enter Méteren. Then, take the first left onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for about 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign, then continue straight. The house will be on your left. Look for a France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.

From Bailleul, take the direction of Méteren. In Méteren, turn right onto Rue des 4 son Aymon (direction Godewaersvelde). Continue for about 7 km, passing through Mont des Cats until you reach Godewaersvelde. At the village entrance, go straight until you reach a stop sign, then continue straight. The house will be on your left. Look for a France Bed panel affixed to the fence of the house to guide you.
