Les Glycines can be found in the charming village of Mison-les-Armands, nestled in the beautiful Alpes de Haute Provence region. Located just 10 minutes away from Sisteron and a mere 5 minutes from Laragne, this former hotel-café-restaurant, built in 1870, has been transformed into a delightful accommodation featuring guest rooms and gîtes. Starting from 2023, Les Glycines will offer three splendid gîtes for rent. While renovating, we have carefully preserved the original style and materials of this Provençal building.Situated on the southern side of the property, you will discover a spacious communal garden, providing a peaceful escape under the partial shade of chestnut and cherry trees. Within this garden, a refreshing swimming pool awaits, complete with a beach area and comfortable deckchairs.
Our accommodations available for rent include three cozy gîtes: Gîte La Baume and Gîte Jouère, perfect for couples, with the option to add an additional bedroom for groups of three or four people. Additionally, we offer Gîte Malaup, designed exclusively for two guests (with prior consultation, small dogs may also be accommodated).
Please note that Les Glycines welcomes guests who are 18 years old and above, ensuring a serene and tranquil experience.
Description for Gite
Gîte Jouère:Located on the first floor, the Jouère gîte offers a charming and private retreat. Accessible through a staircase from your own terrace, this gîte boasts approximately 50 m² of living space. Enjoy a picturesque view of the wisteria and the garden, complete with a swimming pool facing southeast. On your small private terrace under the lime tree, you will find a table, chairs, garden furniture, and a Weber barbecue. The gîte comfortably accommodates 2 people, with the option to rent an additional bedroom if you are a group of 3 or 4.
The gîte is fully equipped with:
- A living room area with comfortable seating and WiFi access, as well as a dining area with a kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a fridge, oven/microwave, gas cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a Magimix-Nespresso machine.
- A cozy bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200 cm).
- A bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
Minimum length of stay: 3 days
Starting price: 85 per night
* Please note that the gîte is designed for 2 people. Gîte Jouère can accommodate a maximum of 2 people. However, if you are a group of 3 or 4, you have the option to rent an additional bedroom, providing you with an extra bedroom and bathroom.
Gîte Malaup:
With its own entrance and private terrace, Gîte Malaup offers a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. Overlooking old mulberry and lime trees, this gîte spans approximately 50 m². The cottage comfortably accommodates a maximum of 2 people.
The gîte is spread across two floors:
- The ground floor features a dining room with a kitchenette, complete with a fridge, oven/microwave, coffee maker, gas cooker, and a Senseo machine. The dining area also includes a table and chairs.
- On the first floor, you will find a bathroom, a bedroom with two twin beds, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, and a wardrobe. WiFi is available throughout the gîte.

Gîte La Baume:
Ascending a staircase from the large terrace on the south side of the house, you will arrive at the first floor apartment of Gîte La Baume. Boasting approximately 50 square meters, this gîte offers stunning views of the wisteria in the garden, as well as the swimming pool. Your private terrace in the garden below is equipped with garden furniture and a Weber barbecue.
The gîte features:
- A cozy living room with a sofa, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, and a dining table with 4 chairs.
- A well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven/microwave, dishwasher, Magimix coffee maker, and a fridge.
- A spacious 20m² bedroom with 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, 2 chairs, and a table.
- An en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
- WiFi is available both inside and outside the gîte.

Additional Information for All 3 Gîtes:
- Our gîtes are non-smoking.
- Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows), towels, and kitchen towels are included. Please note that this linen is not to be used at the swimming pool. Pool towels are available for rent at 5 per person, or you may bring your own.
- Final cleaning fee: 60,--.
