Welcome to Le Chizé, a charming Bed and Breakfast located in Charente-Maritime, close to the beautiful city of Rochefort-sur-mer. Immerse yourself in the rich history and art of Rochefort, with its former Royal Arsenal and the famous Hermione. Our B&B is conveniently situated near Trizay, between the Abbey and Lake du Bois Fleuri.Le Chizé is the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Charente-Maritime. We are ideally positioned between La Rochelle-Ile de Ré and Royan, offering breathtaking views of Oléron Island, Aix Island, and Isle Madame. Additionally, the Roman town of Saintes is just a short drive away.
Our renovated farmhouse, nestled on a 4-hectare property, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our guesthouse features comfortable guest rooms and cottages, elegantly furnished and decorated in the Louis Philippe style. Each room boasts a spacious layout, with independent access, a cozy 160 x 200 bedding, a private bathroom, and a toilet. Please note that all our guest rooms are non-smoking.
