Description for B&B:
The architect-designed longhouse is a contemporary masterpiece that embraces sustainable development while honoring tradition. It seamlessly combines local knowledge with modernity and offers three distinct styles of comfortable living, complete with luxurious amenities. The bedding features soft organic cotton satin sheets, feather and duvet quilts (hypoallergenic bedding available upon request), and the bathroom is stocked with pure vegetable Ecocert guest soaps and organic cotton and linen towels. Each room is blessed with the first rays of sunlight and opens up to a serene garden, where sheep graze peacefully and bees and birds create a harmonious symphony. The heart of the house is the spacious open living room, bathed in the warm southern sun, where guests can come together and enjoy our evening meal. We take pride in cultivating the taste for fresh organic vegetables from our garden and carefully selecting local products for an authentic culinary experience. Our menu features regional dishes and home-cooked meals, presented in the purest form of "table d'hôtes".
For those seeking relaxation and inspiration, our winter garden provides a tranquil space with a library filled with useful books to help plan your outings. Additionally, we cater to road and ATB cycling enthusiasts by offering specific equipment and services, including a bicycle shed, essential repair tools, suitable meals, as well as information and assistance.
The location of our guesthouse is ideal for exploring the surrounding area, including Abbeville, Amiens, Doullens, St Riquier, the Authie and Somme valleys, the Somme Bay, Crécy Forest, and the Circuit of Remembrance. We are proud to be accredited by Gîtes de France (3 épis), Green Key, Jardins de Noé, and recognized as an official Refuge of the LPO (French partner of Birdlife International).
