Welcome to La Demeure des détectives, your Bed & Breakfast located in Trainou, just a stone's throw away from Orleans! Situated in the picturesque village of Trainou, adjacent to the enchanting forest of Orleans, our guest house offers an ideal location, close to various attractions and activities. Explore the renowned castles of the Loire or visit the magnificent Cathedral of Orleans, all within easy reach. Whether you enjoy hiking, golfing, water activities, horseback riding, or karting, there is something for everyone!When we established this guest house, designed to accommodate up to 14 guests, our aim was to provide more than just a place to rest. Each of our four guest rooms has been meticulously furnished and decorated to transport you to different historical eras, following the footsteps of an iconic detective. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of Romantic Italy, Imperial China, Victorian England, or Modern Sweden - our charming guest rooms are sure to please!
Our Bed & Breakfast is not only a place to stay but also a vibrant living space, offering a plethora of activities. Alongside your tranquil, spacious, and well-lit room, you will have access to nearly 150m² of communal areas and over one hectare of lush gardens. Indulge in various indoor activities such as billiards, playing the piano, or engaging in board games, card games, and reading books. Alternatively, enjoy the outdoors with table tennis, French Petanque, Finnish Mölkky, and other ball or racket games. In addition, to enhance your experience and savor the bountiful fruits and vegetables from our garden, we also offer a delightful dining experience at our host table.

By road:
- From Orléans (25 min): Take the Tangential East and exit at Chécy. Turn left towards Neuville aux Bois and continue until Traînou.
- From Paris (1h30): Take A6B and then N20 towards Etampes. Take the D721 and then the D921 towards Pithiviers. Pass through Loury and join the D2152, following signs to Traînou.
- From central Traînou (2 min): Take the rue du Gros Baril. At the end, turn left onto Rue de la Carrière and then right onto the street of Laurendière. After the "Traînou" sign, turn right onto des Puiseaux.
By train:
- The nearest station is Orleans - Aubrais. From there, it is a 25-minute drive, 35 minutes by bus, or 1 hour by bike to reach the destination.
By bus:
- Take line 16 "Orleans - Ingrannes" until the Traînou Stadium-stop or the College Traînou-stop. The bus timetable can be found on the ulys-loiret.com website. We can provide pick-up service upon request (the stop is 1km away from the guest house).
