Description for B&B:

Located near the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park and just an hour away from the gorges of Ardeche and the Chauvet cave, the Little Convent of the Benedictines was built in 1346 by Lord Bermond of Anduze. Situated on the outskirts of Chomérac in the beautiful valley of Payre, this charming accommodation is surrounded by the majestic mountains and the basaltic Coiron Grads limestone, offering numerous trails to explore with the assistance of the friendly owners.

The village itself embodies the essence of this region of Ardèche, close to the Rhone Valley. Nearby attractions include the hamlet of Taverna, the quaint Romanesque church of St-Martin-le-Supérieur, the Lavezon Valley, and the remarkable villages of Meysse and Saint-Vincent-du-Barres.

Your stay at the Little Convent or its annexes will be a delightful experience. Located 800m from the village center and shops, you will find tranquility next to the Véronne river amidst the artistic creations of the owners, who are an actress, an artist, a doctor, and a sculptor.

The accommodation offers double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, ensuring refined comfort and a peaceful atmosphere. A generous kitchen is available, with breakfast included and the option for a delicious dinner at an additional cost of 25 per person. Additionally, there is a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, which can be booked for individual use.

On the eastern side of the property, above the pool and accessible via a staircase, you will find a 25m² room with a large bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a serene view of the gardens. In the central area, also above the pool and reachable via a staircase, there is a 45m² room with a large bed, vaulted ceilings, and the possibility of accommodating two extra beds for an additional charge. This room includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

For those who prefer a more traditional setting, the convent room is located on the upper floor of the building. This 15m² room features vaulted ceilings, a large bed, and an adjoining bathroom with a shower and toilet, overlooking the tranquil inner courtyard.

Free parking is available in the garden, but there is also the option of a closed garage for an additional fee.
