Description for B&B:

Located just a short distance from the bustling city centre, the blue house is nestled in the peaceful St Genès area, radiating a serene atmosphere. With its unique character and welcoming hosts, this lodging option provides a true sense of family.

Unlike ordinary hotels, this private house on the outskirts of Bordeaux city centre offers convenience with regular bus and tram lines nearby. You can effortlessly settle in, park your car, and fully immerse yourself in the wonders of the Bordeaux region.

Dating back to the late 19th century, this charming "vieille dame" still showcases the distinctive style and architecture of Bordeaux. Positioned between the street and a delightful flower and herb garden, where smokers can relax, the cool rooms provide a sanctuary from the summer heat, sheltered by the sturdy stone walls.

Our bed and breakfast option consists of two separate rooms located by the entrance to the house, accommodating 2 to 4 people comfortably.

The perfect B&B

Valerie is the perfect hostess and her home is the place to stay in Bordeaux. The house is located inside the magnificent UNESCO area and is only a short walk plus tram ride away from the city center. After enjoying Valerie's magnificent breakfast the stroll to the tram is just what you need.
Valerie is a treasure Box of information, by listening to her tips we had amazing experiences of Bordeaux and the surroundings. Thank you Valerie - you made this holiday just perfect!
Overnight stay in Bordeaux

What an excellent place to stay when driving down through France. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the location - a short tram ride from the city centre. Patricia was very helpful in recommending places to eat and drink and we really appreciated the way that she allowed us to use our rather rusty French even though she does speak excellent English.

Maison calme et charmante
Review by: Isabelle, Avr 24 2014 2:37PM

Directions

To reach the train station, take bus number 9 and get off at the George V stop.
From the airport, board Tram A and alight at "Hotel de Ville." Then transfer to Tram B, which will take you to "Barrière St genès."
For the old medieval town, take Tramway line B and disembark at either Bergonié or Saint Genès stops, both of which are near the Grand Théatre.
