Welcome to our charming accommodation! This cottage offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a large living room featuring a cozy lounge area, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and there is a separate toilet for your convenience.

Situated on the bottom level of a carefully renovated old water mill, this cottage boasts two terraces. One faces south, allowing you to soak up the sun, while the other faces west and is elevated on stilts, providing a unique and picturesque setting. The natural surroundings are truly enchanting, with beautiful fields and a garden area where the owner has thoughtfully created a space for you to relax and unwind amidst the lush greenery.

Parking is available on the grounds near the house, ensuring easy access for our guests. Despite being nestled in a peaceful natural setting, the cottage is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the center of our charming town, which is home to approximately 8,000 inhabitants and offers a variety of shops and amenities.

The town is also blessed with a stunning lake, which serves as a reservoir for a series of historic tannery mills, including our own. Here, you can enjoy various water activities, such as fishing and swimming. Additionally, there is a 25-meter swimming pool nearby, perfect for those seeking some aquatic recreation. For nature enthusiasts, the hiking trails start right in front of the house, allowing you to embark on scenic walks and explore the beautiful surroundings.

Directions

Directions to the Triskel Bertaud Eco-Cottage:

- If you are coming from the south entrance of Rennes (30 kms), it will take you approximately 20 minutes to reach the cottage.
- If you are coming from the north entrance of Nantes (75 kms) or Vitre (55 kms), it will take you approximately 50 minutes to reach the cottage.
- From Redon and La Gacilly (40 kms), it will take you approximately 40 minutes.
- The distance from Saint-Malo is 100 kms, which will take you approximately 1 hour to reach the cottage.
- The distance from Mont Saint-Michel is 120 kms, which will take you approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the cottage.

To reach the cottage by train, you can take the TGV to Rennes which will take you 20 minutes, and then take the TER to the Messac-Guipry station which is a 10-minute ride away.

If you prefer to travel by plane, the Rennes (Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande) airport is a 25-minute drive from the cottage, while the Nantes Atlantique Airport is a 55-minute drive away.

For those who enjoy biking or walking, there are nearby paths for both walking and mountain biking available close to the house.

To access the Triskel Bertaud Eco-Cottage from the town center, take the D3772 in the direction of Rerc-en-Lamee and the Bain de Bretagne pond (east). After crossing a bridge and seeing the pond on your right, take the first left onto Quarries/Bertaud road. Continue for a short distance until you see the sign for "Bertaud." The eco-lodge will be on your left. Welcome!
