Description for Gite

Le Trincou Cottage is a charming accommodation that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. The spacious living room features a well-equipped kitchen complete with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer. Adding to the cozy ambiance, there is a large stove with a wood burner. The cottage boasts two bedrooms with double beds and two bedrooms with two single beds each. For your convenience, there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and two sinks, as well as an additional bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. In addition, there is a separate toilet.

Outside, the cottage offers its own terrace with a garden table and chairs, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.

On the other hand, La Petite Verte is a secluded self-catering holiday house designed for two guests. It features a comfortable bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200) and a small bathroom with a toilet. The kitchen/living room area is equipped with an oven, microwave, and a fridge-freezer. Like Le Trincou, La Petite Verte also boasts its own terrace with a garden table and chairs, providing a serene space to relax and admire the stunning view, as it is situated on the edge of the forest.

Directions

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS BY CAR:

1. If you are coming from the north, the usual route to La Verte is through Paris.
2. From Lille, take the A1 road towards Paris. Once in Paris, follow the signs for Bordeaux, which will lead you onto the A10 road heading towards Orléans.
3. When you reach Orléans, take the exit towards Clermont-Ferrand/Toulouse/Vierzon, which will guide you onto the A71 road.
4. Near Vierzon, continue on the A20 road in the direction of Toulouse/Limoges.
5. From this point onward, the road is duty free.
6. Look out for turn 28, which will have signs for Angoulême/Aéroport Bellegarde/Périgeux. Take this turn.
7. Follow the signs for Périgueux, which will lead you onto the N21 road towards Châlus/Périgueux.
8. After passing Chalûs, continue on the N21 for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach Firbeix.
9. Once you pass Firbeix, you will notice prominent signs for Grottes de Villars. Follow these signs, which will take you onto the D82 road.
10. After Miallet, continue following the signs for Villars until you reach the junction with the D707 road.
11. Take the direction towards Milhac de Nontron.
12. In Milhac, turn left towards Villars.
13. After driving for about 3 kilometers, take a right when you see the sign for Laschenaud.
14. Continue up the road, and you will soon arrive at La Verte.
