Description for Gite
Our gite, originally a watermill constructed in the late 18th century, is renowned for its exceptional location and well-equipped facilities. We firmly believe that it should be enjoyed rather than left unoccupied, and as former residents, we have paid meticulous attention to every detail. This charming holiday destination comfortably accommodates two individuals, families, or groups of up to six people. Its versatility lies in its spacious kitchen, bathroom, cozy living room with a snug alcove bed, separate twin bedroom, and a magnificent grenier that occupies the entire top floor. Staying here will make you feel as if you are in a truly luxurious space, without the extravagant price tag. It will be difficult to tear yourself away!
In addition to the inviting interior, there is a terrace that overlooks the expansive two-acre gardens, nature reserve, streams, and surrounding fields. This is the perfect spot to observe the abundant bird and wildlife, unwind with a refreshing cold beer or glass of rosé, or simply watch the children play in the garden. The soothing sound of the old millstream, which runs safely around the gite, creates a serene backdrop conducive to a restful night's sleep.
There is an array of activities available in the immediate area, including kayaking, yoga, fishing, walking, and cycling. Unfortunately, we cannot list all the possibilities here, so we recommend visiting our website or contacting us directly for the most up-to-date information. Additionally, we are excited to announce that a large children's playground has been added to the mill island for 2015, featuring swings, slides, a climbing tower, and a rope ladder.
