Situated just one mile from the city center of Saumur, our charming accommodation offers one flat and three guest rooms within a historic 18th-century mansion. Start your day with a delightful breakfast served in our tranquil garden.

Adjacent to the National riding school, golf courses, and vineyards known for their worldwide acclaim, our location allows easy access to explore the captivating landscapes of the Loire Valley and Thouet by bicycle.

Originally a part of the ancient woods known as "Bois Bard," our property was owned by M. Fouquet, the financial minister of Louis the 14th, King of France. During the 19th century, the second and third floors were added to the master house. Notably, the esteemed author Honoré De Balzac frequently received invitations from the owner to visit during the 19th century.
