Located in the oldest section of the barn, this delightful gite offers a spacious living room and kitchen area complete with a charming fireplace. The entrance hall, with its impressive 28 m2 size, features a traditional bread oven and barbecue, as well as comfortable garden furniture. The gite boasts two cozy double bedrooms, one with a rustic country feel and the other exuding a romantic ambiance. The decor perfectly captures the essence of old-world charm, with exquisite half-timbering, oak floors, and paneling that were lovingly crafted by the owner. The iron and wood staircase adds a touch of elegance, while Thérèse's beautiful paintings adorn the walls throughout the gite. Directions
If traveling from the South, starting in Montpellier, you should head towards Millau on the A75. Along the way, you will pass by the impressive Millau viaduct and the castle of Séverac. Continue on to Campagnac and then take the exit 41 towards St. Eulalie d'Olt. Pay attention to the junction of St Martin de Lenne. After crossing the Lot, turn right and drive for approximately 1 mile until you reach the first branch. Follow the signs for Verlac Vieurals. It will take you about 10 kilometers to reach the hamlet of Mazes, and you will pass Verlac after 1.5 km. The elevation will increase from 400 meters above sea level to 1000 meters.
If coming from the South, you can also take a different route by leaving the A75 at Aumont Aubrac and heading towards Malbouzon Nasbinals. In Nasbinals, follow the signs for Aubrac and then after 2 kilometers, turn left towards station Brameloup using the D219. Continue straight, avoiding the station, towards Born and transaubrac. Just before reaching Born, take the direction of Vieurals, but avoid entering the village (like a mini bypass). From there, it will be a 4-kilometer drive towards St. Eulalie d'Olt until you reach "The Mazes".
