Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located just 0.5Km North of Carlow Town, a short 5-minute stroll away on the N9. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the South East of Ireland. Our bed and breakfast offers five beautifully furnished guest rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and traditional furnishings. In addition, the rooms are equipped with direct dial telephones, hair dryers, trouser presses, tea and coffee making facilities, broadband access, and multi-channel televisions. Complimentary toiletries and mineral water are also provided.Guests can enjoy the spacious and elegant bedrooms with broadband access, secure parking, and a patio area for relaxation. Our cozy guest lounge features an inviting open fire. We serve breakfast in our dining room between 7-10 am, offering a full menu that changes with the season and always includes vegetarian options. Within walking distance, guests can find restaurants and bars to explore. Additionally, Avlon House Bed and Breakfast serves as an ideal base for exploring the city and the beautiful South East of the country.
Please note that not all of our rooms are suitable for young children, so it is best to inform us in advance. We do not accept Stag or Hen parties. Check-in is available from 2:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:30 am.

If you are traveling from Waterford, follow the N9 and pass through three sets of traffic lights. After going under the railway bridge, you will find us 500m on the left, just after the Topaz Service station.
