Our grandfather built this house after 1945, and it took over five years to complete most of the construction. The unique feature of the house is the adobe construction technique (see cons below).The house consists of five spacious bedrooms (see description below), a living room, a dining room, a terrace, a large garden, and private parking for your convenience. It offers dedicated spaces for relaxation and socializing.
On the ground floor, the inviting living room is perfect for spending quality time together. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, providing a cozy setting for conversations and discussions about your vacation. Additionally, there is a table game available for enthusiasts of maps and games.
From the living room, you can access the terrace and garden through the front porch, allowing you to enjoy the outdoor space.
Upstairs, a decked area overlooking the balcony provides a peaceful spot to browse through brochures about the region and discover various activities that you can engage in.
Description for Gite
This charming gite features four upstairs bedrooms, namely May Flower, Tanagra, Geisha, and Gironde. Each of these rooms offers ample space, a cozy ambiance, and unique decor with antique furniture. Guests can expect top-notch bedding, a TV, a stylish and contemporary en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate toilet for their convenience.Additionally, the gite boasts a fifth bedroom called Stella, which is specially designed to accommodate individuals with reduced mobility. Located on the ground floor, Stella offers direct access to the garden and is equipped with a comfortable king-size bed (160 cm) and a fully adapted bathroom.

In the center of France, our location is as follows:
- Lyon is a 2-hour drive away.
- Montpellier is a 3-hour and 30-minute drive away.
- Paris is a 4-hour drive away.
- Bordeaux is a 4-hour drive away.
To reach the guest house:
- If you are coming from the motorway Lezoux, at the roundabout, take the direction towards Lezoux center. At the stop sign, go towards Thiers. Drive for 3 km until you reach a place called "The White House". After a series of rotating turns, continue straight and take the first road on the left. After driving for 200m, turn right. Continue for another 500m and you will arrive at the guest house.
- If you are coming from the motorway exit Thiers West, at the roundabout, take the first right towards Thiers center. Follow the road until you reach a roundabout in front of Carrefour. Then, take the first right towards Pont-de-Dore and cross Pont-de-Dore. After crossing, turn right onto the Roman road (a lane that goes downhill). Drive for 2 km and you will find us on the right.
Please note that we are not located in the village of Peschadoires but on a country road known as the "Roman Road".
