Directions
"Les Bouffards" is situated in the heart of the Sologne forest, between Orléans and Bourges. To reach it from the A71 highway Orléans / Clermont-Ferrand, take exit n°3 Lamotte-Beuvron. Upon exiting, make a right turn and head towards Lamotte. At the second roundabout on the main road N20, turn right in the direction of Bourges/Vierzon. After 500m, take a left towards Brinon sur Sauldre/Aubigny on road D923. Drive for approximately 8km until you see a sign indicating "Département du Cher". Continue straight for another 2km. At the milestone marked "2", at the end of a long straight road and just before a left curve, you will notice an earth lane on your left with a signpost for "Les Bouffards 1.5km". Cross over the Sauldre canal, and before a small pond with wild ducks and herons, make a left turn. Pass by a guard house and a large old restored farm on your right, then continue straight until you reach a gate facing the lane. Enter through the gate and proceed towards the Castle on the right side. For GPS coordinates, use 47°566 North and 2°145 East.
