Birch Cottage is conveniently located only 30 minutes away from Inverness and its airport. The surrounding area boasts an abundance of breathtaking scenery, including Applecross, Gairloch, the Black Isle, Glen Affric, and Ullapool, all within a short drive. For those interested in exploring further, the renowned Kyle Line can be accessed from Inverness, with stops at Garve and the Kyle of Lochalsh. Additionally, Skye is easily accessible by car in just over an hour. Nature enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice with numerous Munros in close proximity. For those seeking cultural experiences, there are distilleries, castles, and museums to explore. In the evening, guests can look forward to a delightful meal prepared by Ray, an experienced chef of 35 years, with the added benefit of being able to personally select their dishes from the available menu. Please note that Birch Cottage does not hold a liquor license, so guests are kindly requested to bring their own beer or wine. Payments are accepted in British pounds sterling.
