Welcome to Pouzols Minervois, a charming village in the Aude region of Languedoc-Roussillon. With a population of 320 inhabitants, our village is dominated by its ancient castle and is conveniently located on the Route Minervoise between Béziers, Narbonne, and Carcassonne.

As part of the Cathar country in southern Minervois, Pouzols Minervois is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and exceptional wines. Despite its small size, our village has preserved the authentic charm of a Cathar village, offering a peaceful and tranquil escape just 35 minutes away from the medieval city of Carcassonne.

At the highest point of the village, you can explore the ancient fortifications that date back to the ninth century. Another notable landmark is the Romanesque church of Saint Saturnin, a beautiful example of Lombard architecture and a designated historical monument since 1961.

Our accommodations are situated in old stone buildings that were once used for winemaking. We offer two spacious houses, each with a capacity of 8 people (200 m2). Both houses are listed and recommended in the prestigious "Charming Bed 2008" guide.

Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, our village is also just a short distance from the Cave Cooperative of Olive Oil "The Oulibo." You can indulge in the excellent wines produced by the Cave Cooperative Pouzols and the private cellar of Mr. Bernard ALBERT, a medalist in national wine competitions.

During your stay in our comfortable lodges, you can explore the rich history, vineyards, and regional specialties of the Cathar country. We are also surrounded by a variety of excellent restaurants, ranging from gourmet establishments to charming taverns along the Canal du Midi, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for every taste.
