The description of this renovated farm emphasizes its use of healthy and ecological materials such as hemp, wood wool, massive timbers, roofing slate, and larch countries. It is designed for minimum comfort but is equipped with its own heating and solar electricity. The accommodation includes small private rooms, a dormitory for six people, and a collective suite rooms. Upstairs, there is a spacious living/dining room with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove.Guests can choose to stay for one or several nights with half board provided. Fresh products are delivered 2-3 times a week by men on their backs, ensuring the availability of fresh food as needed.
This isolated site is located 300m from the gates of the Ecrins National Park, offering stunning views of the surrounding glaciers. Guests can enjoy a breakfast terrace with marmots just 5m away, guaranteeing a unique and refreshing experience.

Belle découverte
Après une randonnée dans le toujours aussi bel alpage de Villar d'Arène dimanche 3 aout, nous avons été charmés par ce tout nouveau refuge. Le repas a été excellent, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une chambre familiale pour 4 parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Directions
To get to the destination, start by heading towards the hamlet "Pied du col" located between Villar Arêne and Col du Lautaret. Once there, continue towards the house "pas de lâne" at the end of the road. From there, follow the vehicle track for about 1.5km until you reach the final parking area.
Once you have arrived at the parking area, it's time to leave behind your worries, laptop, and iPhone. Instead, equip yourself with comfortable walking shoes, a backpack, and walking sticks. You will need them for a pleasant hour-long walk on the GR54 trail to reach the Col d'Arsine and its beautiful lake.
After approximately 50 minutes of uphill walking, you will reach a ledge where you can enjoy a scenic view of the chalets of "le plan de l'Alpe". It will take you only 15 more minutes to reach the chalets from there.
