You can find us in the Upper Cecina Valley, a region known for its rich cultural heritage centered around the historic city of Volterra. Our recently restored farmstead, designed in traditional Tuscan architecture, is located in front of the ancient town of S.Dalmazio, which served as the setting for Carlo Cassola's romance novel "Il taglio del bosco".Situated in the Pomarance district of the province of Pisa, our farmstead is nestled in the beautiful High Maremma Toscana region, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the "Colline Metallifere". From forests like the Berignone Wood, Tatti and Monterufoli Wood, to gullies, crags, and geysers, this area offers breathtaking natural scenery.
Perched on a hill 350m high, our farmstead immerses you in the serene countryside ambiance. With 60 hectares of land, we cultivate organic wheat and olives.
We provide breakfast (B&B) and dinner (half-board) in our veranda, offering a picturesque view of the 12th-century Rocca Sillana, which is within easy walking distance. Our meals showcase the finest Tuscan cuisine and feature fresh organic produce from our garden (vegetarian options available upon request). Additionally, we exclusively use our own organic extra-virgin olive oil in our dishes and on our tables.

If you are coming from the north (Genova - Parma - La Spezia), take Highway A12 (Genova-Rosignano) and exit at Rosignano. Continue on route "Variante Aurelia SS1" towards Grosseto and then take the exit for Cecina Nord. From there, take Statale n° 68 towards Volterra and continue straight to Saline di Volterra. Turn right towards Pomarance and once you pass the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will have arrived.
If you are coming from Pisa Airport, take the FI-PI-LI highway towards Florence and exit at the second exit for Pontedera. Follow the signs for Volterra until you reach Saline di Volterra. From there, proceed to Pomarance and once you pass the town, follow the signs for Larderello. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will find a sign indicating "Podere Apparita" on your right. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will have arrived.
If you are coming from Bologna-Firenze, reach Florence and take the exit for Florence Impruneta. Then, take the highway towards Siena and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa Sud (turn right). At the roundabout, continue towards Radicondoli - Grosseto for 10 km until you see a gas station called "Total" on the left and the "La Speranza" restaurant on your right. Turn right after the restaurant and after 2 km, turn left towards Monteguidi. After a couple of km, turn right towards Pomarance. Pass through the towns of Monteguidi and Montecastelli and follow the road signs to San Dalmazio. After 3 km from Montecastelli, you will see the sign for our farmstead, which is located 300m ahead on the left.

Exit at Cecina Nord and from there, take route Statale nr. 68 towards Volterra. Continue straight to Saline di Volterra and turn right towards Pomarance.
