Laurence and Yannick are delighted to extend a warm welcome to their 19th-century guest house located in a charming village overlooking the Indre Valley.Once the village's old bakery, the house has been recently renovated with great respect for tradition and a deep appreciation for its historical significance.
Guests can enjoy a heated swimming pool on the premises.
Situated in the Loire Valley, the guest house is conveniently located near major castles and gardens such as Azay le Rideau (4 km), Ussé (6 km), Villandry (12 km), Langeais (12 km), Chinon (15 km), Amboise (35 km), and Chenonceau (40 km).
The breakfasts served here are generous and delicious, showcasing the finest local produce.
Having discovered this area 20 years ago, Laurence and Yannick take immense pleasure in introducing their guests to its most beautiful and hidden gems. Travel directions from Paris:
To reach Chinon, leave the A10 motorway at exit 24, located south of Tours. Follow the toll-free A85 motorway and then D751 towards Chinon from the ring road. Upon reaching AZAY LE RIDEAU, at the large roundabout with Carrefour supermarket on the left, continue towards Azay center and proceed downhill. Cross the center and the Indre river, and after about 500 meters, enter "La Chapelle Saint Blaise," which is actually the main part of Cheillé. Take a right onto D17 heading west towards Cheillé - église and Rivarennes. After 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for "chambres dhôtes Le Vaujoint, Les Ecureuils, and la grange bleu." Turn left and drive uphill, ignoring the first gîtes on the left. Continue for an additional 200 meters. The Ecureuils is located at the junction of two roads within the hamlet. The parking area is on the right side of the house.
